I joined the Playhouse Co. in the late 1990s in Durban in my first lead role (as the aunt in 'Charley's Aunt' ("from Brazil, where the nuts come from...") 

Since then, the theatre has been a trial of fire and creative ecstasy. More than anything, the theatre offers a way of climbing onto the story arc and riding as hard as you need to engage the imagination of an audience in the moment!
